Time to Register for Summer Courses

I think the summer courses will be some of the best that St. Raphael School has offered, and I want to make sure you have a chance to enroll.  They are coming up soon, so don't delay!

Middle School Catechism - $90 (book included)

May 23 - June 17; 10:30-11:30am; Tues/Thurs

I just finished reading the book Fr Noah chose for this class: Who is God? Who am I? Who are You? by Dee Pennock.  It is fantastic--one of the best books I have read on this topic, and it is written at a level that is truly accessible and engaging for young readers.  The text is difficult to find, but I found a box of them and will send you a copy when you register for the course.

Story Writing Workshop for Teens - $75

May 31 - June 30; 6-7pm; Tues/Thurs

Nick Muzekari, author of A Gift for Matthew (Ancient Faith Publishing), will be guest-teaching a writing course.  I've had the privilege of speaking with Nick recently about the course.  He is excited about the class, and he is a great guy; I know the students are going to enjoy this class.

Poetry and the Psalter (High School) - $100

May 31- June 23; 10-11:30am; Tues/Thurs

Dr. James Taylor, who spent a good part of last year in a monastery, will be combining his love of poetry and his love for the Church and her prayers in a course that is sure to be a rich and unforgettable experience.

More to come...

Elementary Sample Week in June (begins the 13th)

Parts of Speech (begins July 11th)

Elementary Sample Week in July (beings the 11th)

Even if you are not planning to enroll this summer, please share with those you know who might be interested.

Thank you!
